Building on from music studies that started when Vikki was 7 years old, it has been part of her ongoing development and desire to broaden her teaching resources and knowledge of world rhythms and percussion instruments.

For the last 20 years Vikki has been mentored by a leading drum and percussion guru studying Djembe, Djun Djun, Cabassa, Tumbadoras, Frame Drum plus Modern Drum Set techniques covering a vast range of world rhythms from Cuban to African, ancient to contemporary.

Vikki has co-facilitated hundreds of therapeutic drum workshops for major organisations such a Sure Start and The National Autistic Society in approximately 30 schools, colleges and educational centres throughout Devon and Cornwall.

She has performed at most major venues in Cornwall and music festivals across the UK.

Building on her extensive experience of co-facilitating professional workshops, Vikki provides 1-1 personal studies in all modern Drum Set techniques for people of all ages covering Funk and Fusion to Pop and Rock.
